Outlets are first-class, not a filter
A lot of software handles a second pump by adding a dropdown. That works until the day two outlets need genuinely different staff, different fuel grades and different people allowed to see them — which is the day you discover the dropdown was a filter over one shared pool of data.
In PumpDesk an outlet owns its tanks, its nozzles, its fuel-type register, its shifts and its reports. Adding a second outlet does not dilute the first one, and a person who has no role at an outlet cannot see it at all.
Access, granted one outlet at a time
When you sign up you become the owner of your own organisation — not an administrator over anyone else's. You then invite people and grant each a role on a specific outlet.
The same person can be a manager at the pump they run and hold no access at the others in the group. That is the normal arrangement in a family-run chain, and it should not require a separate account and a separate password per pump.
- Owner, manager, operator, accountant and auditor roles, each granted per outlet.
- Every authorisation check runs on the server against the role held on that specific outlet.
- Invites are per person, so staff turnover is an access change rather than a shared password nobody rotates.
How many outlets each plan carries
Outlet and people counts are the limits PumpDesk actually enforces. They are stated here rather than left to be discovered when an invite is refused.

Frequently asked questions
Can I compare outlets against each other?
Yes. Reports run per outlet, and the group view puts them side by side over the same period, which is the comparison that tells you whether a dip at one pump is local or market-wide.
Can different outlets sell different fuel grades?
Yes. The fuel-type register belongs to the outlet, so a highway pump carrying a branded premium grade and a town pump carrying only regular petrol and diesel coexist without either one carrying the other's list.
What if I have more than five outlets?
That is what Enterprise is for — outlets and people sized to your group, ten years of report history, billed on agreed terms. Start a trial and ask for Enterprise terms from Support inside the app.
